Privacy & Boundaries
What is kept, and what is not.
Your reflections
Before you create an account, everything stays in this browser. After you sign in, your reflections are stored privately in your own account and are visible only to you. They are never sold, shared, or used to train models.
When the mirror remembers your past, it does not read your old reflections again. Your past text is processed right here in this browser into at most three single-word themes — such as grief, longing, or hope. Only those single words travel anywhere. The full sentences you once wrote never leave your device.
You control the mirror’s memory. In your Soul Profile, Stateless Mirror turns the memory off entirely: no themes, no timeframe, no trace of your past. Each reflection stands alone. Keep nothing goes further: the reflection is spoken and then gone, with nothing written down at all.
What the AI sees
To answer, Aetheria sends the words of your current reflection to Google’s Gemini API. Under that API, your text is not used to train models; it is held only briefly for abuse monitoring and then discarded. No conversation history is kept on their side.
Who can read them
Reflections are readable only through your own signed-in session. No part of Aetheria reads them with administrative access, they are never written to logs or error reports, and they never appear in any analytics.
Taking it back
From your Soul Profile you can export everything as a file, forget a single reflection, erase all of them, or delete your account outright. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
What Aetheria is not
Aetheria is a reflective companion. It is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical, legal, or financial advice, and it should not be relied on as such.
If you are in crisis
Please reach a person. Contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country. A mirror cannot hold what a human can.
Your reflections belong to you.
